In June 1940, as Hitler's army invades Paris, a young widow and her two children are forced to flee the city. During their escape, they are saved from attacks by German dive-bombers by a confident and impulsive teenage boy. He leads them to shelter in an abandoned house, where the family begins to rely heavily on his resourcefulness and survival skills. However, living together in close quarters creates tension and challenges, making their situation difficult despite their dependence on one another.

Detailed Synopsis of Strayed

Fleeing the June 1940 arrival of Hitler's army in Paris, a young war widow and her two children are rescued from dive-bombing German fighters by a cocky, reckless teenager. He finds them refuge in an abandoned house, but despite the fact that the family quickly comes to be depending much on his cunning and survival abilities, their cohabitation proves uneasy.
