Splice

Elsa and Clive, two young scientists working against legal and ethical restrictions, conduct an unauthorized experiment by combining human and animal DNA to create a new life form. They name the resulting creature "Dren," who quickly grows from a malformed infant into a striking but potentially dangerous winged human-animal hybrid. As Dren forms close relationships with both Elsa and Clive, the situation becomes increasingly complicated and ultimately leads to dangerous consequences for all involved.
