Flor Moreno, a Mexican immigrant and single mother, takes a housekeeping job with Deborah and John Clasky, a wealthy couple living in California with their two children. When Flor explains that her demanding work schedule conflicts with caring for her young daughter, Cristina, Deborah offers for them to live together in the Clasky household. As Flor and her daughter adjust to life in a new environment, cultural differences between the Mexican immigrant family and the affluent American family create tension. Detailed Synopsis of Spanglish

Mexican immigrant and single mother Flor Moreno finds housekeeping work with Deborah and John Clasky, a well-off couple with two children of their own.
