Seventh Son

John Gregory, known as the local spook and the seventh son of a seventh son, has spent his life protecting the countryside from witches, boggarts, ghouls, and other supernatural threats. Now older and aware that his time is limited, John searches for an apprentice to continue his work. Many candidates have tried but failed to survive the dangerous training. His final chance lies with Thomas Ward, the son of a local farmer, who must endure the rigorous lessons and challenges to become the next spook and protect the land from dark forces.
