Sakuran

Set in the red-light district of Yoshiwara, the story follows Kiyoha, a young woman who starts as a low-ranking courtesan and works her way up to become a high-class Oiran. Throughout her journey, she strives to gain independence and live according to her own choices despite the challenges of her environment.
