Quick Synopsis
In a crime-ridden Detroit on the brink of collapse, the city government grants a contract to Omni Consumer Products, a powerful corporation, to take over the police force. To develop their new crime-fighting cyborg, the company arranges for police officer Alex Murphy to confront the dangerous crime lord Boddicker, intending to use Murphy's body for their experimental RoboCop project after the encounter. However, once transformed into RoboCop, Murphy becomes aware of the corporation's unethical intentions and decides to oppose them.
Detailed Synopsis of RoboCop
In a violent, near-apocalyptic Detroit, evil corporation Omni Consumer Products wins a contract from the city government to privatize the police force. To test their crime-eradicating cyborgs, the company leads street cop Alex Murphy into an armed confrontation with crime lord Boddicker so they can use his body to support their untested RoboCop prototype. But when RoboCop learns of the company's nefarious plans, he turns on his masters.
