Quick Synopsis

In the ancient kingdom of Kosala, located in the city of Ayodhya, four princes were born to three queens and all grew into strong young men. Due to political schemes within the royal court, Prince Rama was exiled for fourteen years and chose to live in the forest with his wife, Sita. While living in the forest, Rama fought and defeated several demons, which angered the demon king Ravana. In retaliation, Ravana kidnapped Sita, setting off a quest to rescue her. This story is based on the Indian epic, the Ramayana.

Banished for 14 years due to court intrigue, Prince Rama retreated to the forest with his beautiful wife Sita.
