Quick Synopsis
Kieron Chow, a Khmer Rouge terrorist, arrives in Hong Kong with his unit to carry out a mission. During the operation, his son Todd, who is also his loyal right-hand man, suffers a severe head injury that leaves him with amnesia after waking from a coma. Todd is given a new identity, but this new life puts him in danger. Psychiatrist Shirley Kwan assists anti-terrorist officer Mark Chan in convincing Todd that he is actually an undercover police officer assigned to infiltrate his father's terrorist group. As Todd gradually recovers pieces of his lost memory, he faces a difficult decision between his violent past and the chance for redemption offered by his new role.
Detailed Synopsis of Purple Storm
Khmer Rouge terrorist Kieron Chow and his unit arrive in Hong Kong for their latest mission. Todd, Chow's son and fiercely loyal right-hand man, sustains a serious head wound. Now a total amnesiac, Todd wakes from a coma to find he's been given a new life, one that may be the death of him. With the help of psychiatrist Shirley Kwan, anti-terrorist officer Mark Chan tries to convince Todd that he is actually an undercover cop sent to infiltrate Chow's group. As fragments of his shattered memory return, Todd is forced to choose between his dark past and this one shot at redemption
