During a vacation at her family's home in Hawaii, college student Lucy and her friends enjoy their time with her pet chimpanzee, Ben. Their trip takes a dangerous turn when Ben is bitten by a rabid animal and becomes infected with rabies, turning him aggressive. As Ben's behavior becomes increasingly violent, Lucy and her friends must find a way to protect themselves and survive the threat posed by the once-friendly chimpanzee.
