Persuasion

Set in early 19th-century England, the story follows Anne Elliot, a woman from an aristocratic family facing serious financial difficulties. These troubles bring her back into contact with Frederick Wentworth, her former fiancé who has since become wealthy. As they reconnect, both Anne and Frederick must decide whether to move beyond their past relationship or to follow their true feelings for each other.
