Peking Opera Blues

Set in Beijing in 1913, the story follows three determined women: Tsao Wan, a rebel who disguises herself to avoid detection; Sheung Hung, who is searching for valuable jewels; and Pat Neil, the daughter of a famous opera family. Together, they navigate a complex situation involving political unrest and personal betrayals, all while moving through the lively and traditional environment of Peking Opera, challenging the expectations placed on them by society.
