Ace is a young man working at a dry cleaning shop in Harlem who becomes involved in the drug trade after his friend Mitch, a local dealer, is sent to prison. By chance, Ace discovers cocaine hidden in a pair of pants at work, which leads him to start selling drugs under the guidance of a dealer named Lulu. Using a combination of luck and his ability to connect with people, Ace rises quickly to become a leading figure in Harlem's drug scene. However, his success attracts betrayal from untrustworthy employees and rival dealers, which ultimately threatens to bring about his downfall.

Ace is an impressionable young man working for a dry cleaning business. His friend, drug dealer Mitch, goes to prison. In an unrelated incident, he finds some cocaine in a pants pocket. Soon, Ace finds himself dealing cocaine for Lulu. Via lucky breaks and solid interpersonal skills, Ace moves to the top of the Harlem drug world. Of course, unfaithful employees and/or rivals conspire to bring about Ace's fall.
