Over the Sky

Mio, a high school student who often avoids her responsibilities, spends her afternoons in Ikebukuro with her childhood friend Arata and her best friend Madoka. One day, Madoka confesses that she has feelings for Arata, which makes Mio realize she also loves him. Fearing that their friendship might be damaged, Mio lies and says she will support their relationship, but then starts acting coldly toward Arata, leading to an argument between them. After deciding to reconcile, Mio is involved in a car accident on her way to meet Arata and wakes up in a strange version of Ikebukuro that feels familiar but altered in unknown ways.
