Quick Synopsis
Boog is a 900-pound grizzly bear who has lived a comfortable life with humans but suddenly finds himself alone in the forest just three days before the start of hunting season, known as Open Season. In this unfamiliar environment, he meets Elliot, a talkative mule deer, and despite their differences, they become friends. Together, they work to gather other animals in the forest to create a group that can defend themselves against the hunters approaching their home.

Boog, a domesticated 900lb. Grizzly bear finds himself stranded in the woods 3 days before Open Season. Forced to rely on Elliot, a fast-talking mule deer, the two form an unlikely friendship and must quickly rally other forest animals if they are to form a rag-tag army against the hunters.
