Quick Synopsis
In Hong Kong, three young gay men named Hoi, Fa, and Kau, who have been close friends since their school days in Third Form, now live together in an apartment. Fa, a film scriptwriter, is dealing with heartbreak after a recent breakup. Hoi works at an advertising agency where he keeps his sexuality a secret, while a female coworker named Fok May shows romantic interest in him. Kau, who is effeminate and outgoing, faces public humiliation when his father criticizes him in front of his siblings, leading Kau to appear on television to ask for acceptance. Amid the challenges of societal prejudice and the threat of AIDS, May and the three friends navigate their relationships and support each other.

Young gay men in Hong Kong. Hoi, Fa, and Kau have been friends since Third Form. They're now young gay adults sharing an apartment. Fa, who writes film scripts, has recently been jilted and is heart-broken. Hoi, who works at an ad agency where he's in the closet, is pursued by Fok May, a female colleague. Kau, effeminate and outgoing, is humiliated in public by his father in front of his brother and sister. He goes on TV to make a plea for acceptance. Under the shadow of AIDS and of prejudice, May and the three guys live out their friendships.
