Oblivion

Jack Harper works as one of the last drone repair technicians on a largely abandoned Earth, where he supports a large-scale effort to gather essential resources following many years of conflict with a dangerous enemy called the Scavs. As his mission approaches completion, Jack's life changes dramatically when he saves a woman who has survived a crash landing from a spacecraft. Her unexpected presence leads Jack to reevaluate his understanding of the world and ultimately places the responsibility for humanity's future on him.
