Quick Synopsis
Six years prior, NASA identified signs of potential alien life in our solar system and sent a probe to gather samples, but it crashed during re-entry over Central America. Following the crash, strange new life forms emerged, leading to half of Mexico being declared an infected quarantine zone. Currently, American and Mexican military forces continue efforts to control these creatures, while a journalist agrees to guide a distressed tourist through the dangerous infected area in Mexico, aiming to reach the safety of the U.S. border.
Detailed Synopsis of Monsters
Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Soon after, new life forms began to appear and half of Mexico was quarantined as an infected zone. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain "the creatures," while a journalist agrees to escort a shaken tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the U.S. border.
