In a small town, a barber experiences a break-in at his home and reports the theft to the local police. He refers to the missing item as his "Lakshmi," but his vague description leaves the officers unsure whether he means a person or an object. Initially dismissive and skeptical of his claims, the police mock his request. However, their attitude changes when they discover the true significance of what the barber is trying to recover, prompting them to take the case more seriously.
