Quick Synopsis
During a recent expedition, former scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, his intelligent research assistant Holly, and a survival expert named Will are unexpectedly pulled into a space-time vortex that transports them to a strange world filled with dangerous dinosaurs and slow-moving creatures called Sleestaks. Lacking weapons and with limited survival skills, the group depends on their only friend in this unfamiliar place, a primate named Chaka, as they work together to stay alive and find a way to return home.
Detailed Synopsis of Land of the Lost
On his latest expedition, has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall is sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his crack-smart research assistant Holly and redneck survivalist Will into a world populated by marauding dinosaurs and painfully slow creatures called Sleestaks. With no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts, the trio must rely on their only ally, a primate named Chaka, to try to survive long enough to figure out a way back home.
