Lady Chatterley's Lover

In post-World War I England, Lady Chatterley faces a difficult situation when her husband, Sir Clifford Chatterley, becomes paralyzed and unable to engage in a physical relationship due to a severe injury. Struggling with her emotional loyalty to her husband and her own unmet physical needs, she eventually discusses the matter with him. With his understanding and permission, Lady Chatterley begins to explore relationships outside their marriage in an effort to find personal fulfillment while maintaining her commitment to her husband.
