Kaiju No. 8: Mission Recon

In a Japan frequently attacked by giant monsters known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino works in a team responsible for cleaning up after these creatures are defeated. When he reconnects with Mina Ashiro, his childhood friend who is now a promising member of the anti-Kaiju Defense Force, Kafka is inspired to revive his old ambition of joining the Force himself. Unexpectedly, Kafka undergoes a transformation into a powerful Kaiju, designated as "Kaiju No. 8."
