Quick Synopsis
Heidi, an eight-year-old orphan from Switzerland, is sent by her aunt to live with her grandfather who lives in the mountains. Later, her aunt takes her away from her grandfather to live in Frankfurt, Germany, in the home of the wealthy Sesemann family. There, Heidi becomes a companion to Klara, a disabled girl who uses a wheelchair. Although Heidi tries to adapt to her new life, she feels unhappy and often misses her grandfather and the mountain home.
Detailed Synopsis of Heidi
Heidi, is an eight-year-old Swiss orphan who is given by her aunt to her mountain-dwelling grandfather. She is then stolen back by her aunt from her grandfather to live in the wealthy Sesemann household in Frankfurt, Germany as a companion to Klara, a sheltered, disabled girl in a wheelchair. Heidi is unhappy but makes the best of the situation, always longing for her grandfather.
