After being dismissed from their university positions, three scientists specializing in paranormal studies decide to open a business in New York City that focuses on capturing ghosts. As they begin their work, they discover a dangerous supernatural force threatening to cause widespread destruction, and they must confront this threat to protect the city and the world.
