Ghost in the Shell

Set in the year 2029, the story takes place in a world where advanced cybernetics and widespread internet connectivity have blurred the lines between humans and machines. This technological progress has introduced new risks, including the ability to hack directly into people's brains. When a notorious hacker called 'The Puppetmaster' starts manipulating political events through these cyber attacks, Section 9, a specialized police unit composed of officers enhanced with cybernetic technology, is tasked with investigating and stopping this threat to society.
