Gezhi Town

In the mountain town of Gezhi, a group of Chinese refugees and scattered soldiers come together under the leadership of a machinist to defend their community. When Japanese reconnaissance troops launch a surprise attack, the townspeople use their resourcefulness and everyday skills to resist the better-trained military force in a tense and determined battle to protect their home.
