Fractured

While driving across the country, Ray, his wife, and their daughter stop at a highway rest area where their daughter accidentally falls and breaks her arm. They rush to the nearest hospital, where Ray has a tense encounter with the check-in nurse before they are finally admitted. After the wife and daughter go for an MRI downstairs, Ray, worn out from the stress, falls asleep in a chair in the hospital lobby. When he wakes up, he discovers that the hospital staff have no record of his family ever being checked in, leaving him confused and desperate to find them.
