Far from the Madding Crowd

Set in Victorian England, the story follows Bathsheba Everdene, a strong-willed and independent woman who manages her own farm. She becomes the focus of attention for three very different men: Gabriel Oak, a diligent and reliable young sheep farmer who works closely with her; Frank Troy, a charming but impulsive Sergeant with a reckless streak; and William Boldwood, a wealthy and older bachelor who is serious about courting her. The film explores Bathsheba's relationships with these men and the challenges she faces in balancing her independence with matters of the heart.
