Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone

Following a catastrophic event known as the Second Impact, the city of Tokyo-3 faces repeated attacks from large creatures called Angels, which threaten human survival. A young boy named Shinji is brought to the city and tasked with piloting a powerful, enigmatic mecha called an Evangelion to defend against these threats. This film retells the story of the first six episodes of the original 1996 anime series by GAINAX, presenting the beginning of Shinji's involvement in the battle for humanity. The movie was later updated and re-released under the titles "Evangelion: 1.01" and "Evangelion: 1.11," the latter including additional scenes.
