Emperor

At the end of World War II, when Japan surrenders, General Fellers is assigned the difficult job of determining whether Emperor Hirohito should be tried and executed as a war criminal. While carrying out this responsibility, Fellers is also personally motivated by his search for Aya, a Japanese exchange student he had met years before while in the United States, which affects his perspective on the situation.
