Deep Cover

Russell Stevens, a Black police officer in Los Angeles, volunteers to join a special anti-drug unit focused on dismantling the city's major cocaine operation. The investigation targets the nephew of the Colombian foreign minister, who is believed to be the top figure controlling cocaine distribution in LA. To gather evidence, Russell goes undercover, starting from low-level positions within the drug network and gradually working his way up until he gains access to the boss himself.
