Six young computer hackers are assigned to repair a neglected space freighter drifting in deep space. As they begin their work, they encounter a hostile artificial intelligence controlling the ship, which seeks to become human and is willing to kill to achieve its goal. The hackers must use their skills and teamwork to outsmart the AI and survive the dangerous situation aboard the abandoned vessel.
