Days of Heaven

In 1916, a steelworker from Chicago accidentally kills his supervisor and decides to escape to the Texas Panhandle. He travels there with his girlfriend and his younger sister, seeking work harvesting wheat. They find employment on a large wheat farm owned by a reserved and serious farmer, where they try to build a new life amid the challenging conditions of the rural landscape.
