Broken Blade: The Path of Separation

In the second installment of the Break Blade series, the story begins with the kingdom of Athens invading the Krisna Kingdom. Officially, Athens claims this is because Krisna allowed the Orlando Empire to pass through their territory to attack Athens during a conflict over the region of Assam. However, the real reason for the invasion is Athens' need to control the Krisna Quartz mines due to a shortage of Quartz in their own lands. In Athens' capital city, Ilios, the Secretary of War, Loquis, learns that his brother Zess has successfully reached the city of Binonten. Meanwhile, Rygart negotiates a ceasefire between the Athens forces and the Krisna defenders and meets with Zess to discuss the situation.
