Quick Synopsis
Buddy Amaral is a successful but self-centered advertising executive living in Los Angeles. Before boarding a long-delayed flight, he impulsively swaps tickets with a stranger so he can spend the night with a businesswoman he met in Dallas. Tragically, the plane crashes, killing everyone on board, including the man whose ticket Buddy took. Struggling with guilt, Buddy develops an alcohol addiction and joins a 12-step recovery program. As part of his efforts to make amends, he decides to find the woman he believes has lost her husband because of his actions.
Detailed Synopsis of Bounce
Buddy Amaral, a successful and self-absorbed Los Angeles advertising executive, switches airline tickets with a stranger just before boarding a long-delayed flight so that he might enjoy an overnight fling with a pretty Dallas businesswoman. When the plane goes down, killing all aboard, Buddy's guilt soon turns into an alcohol problem. As part of his 12-step program, Buddy seeks atonement and decides to seek out the woman he thinks he's left a widow.
