In London, novelist Catherine Tramell finds herself involved in another legal investigation, prompting Scotland Yard to assign psychiatrist Dr. Michael Glass to assess her mental state. As Dr. Glass begins his evaluation, he becomes captivated by Tramell's charm and intelligence, much like the previous detective who worked on her case. This leads him into a complex and dangerous psychological interaction with her.
