Assassin

In 1932 Shanghai, during a time of political unrest, a leader of the local resistance teams up with a notorious gangster to carry out a plan to assassinate a high-ranking Japanese military strategist who is influencing the city. As they work together, their mission triggers violent clashes with occupying forces and inspires the local population to rise up against oppression. Throughout their struggle, both men face dangerous challenges and make significant sacrifices in their shared effort to secure freedom for their people.
