The film tells the true story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, an Indian Army officer who showed remarkable bravery during a counterterrorism operation in the Shopian district of Kashmir. It portrays his efforts to protect his country and also highlights the support and dedication of his wife, Indhu Rebecaa Varghese, throughout his service.
