All Quiet on the Western Front

Paul Baumer, along with his friends Albert and Muller, join the German army during World War I, motivated by idealistic hopes of heroism and patriotism. They eagerly enter the conflict, expecting to serve their country with pride. However, once they arrive at the Western Front, they are confronted with the brutal realities and devastating hardships of trench warfare, which challenge their initial beliefs and deeply affect their outlook on the war.
