Admiral Yamamoto

Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto becomes the supreme commander of the Japanese fleet after Japan forms a political alliance with Nazi Germany and fascist Italy. As Japan moves closer to war, Yamamoto, though uncertain about the path ahead, concludes that a surprise attack on the American fleet at Pearl Harbor is the only way to secure victory. The attack damages the base but does not destroy the American aircraft carriers, which remain a significant threat. Following this, Yamamoto leads the Japanese navy into a prolonged conflict, facing increasingly difficult odds.
