28 Years Later

Twenty-eight years after the Rage virus devastated the world, a small group of survivors has established a heavily fortified community on an island, which is linked to the mainland by only one narrow causeway. When a member of this group decides to leave the safety of the island and venture into the mainland's dangerous and largely abandoned interior, he encounters unexpected secrets and strange phenomena. Along the way, he discovers that the virus has not only transformed the infected into terrifying creatures but has also caused disturbing changes among other human survivors.
