Quick Synopsis

In New York City, two criminals from Eastern Europe, Oleg and Emil, arrive to collect their share of a recent heist. Oleg steals a video camera and begins recording their activities, both legal and illegal. They soon realize that the American media can turn a ruthless killer into a sympathetic figure and even make criminals wealthy. Using this insight, they decide to target the police officers investigating their crimes: NYPD Homicide Detective Eddie Flemming, who is experienced with the media, and FDNY Fire Marshal Jordy Warsaw, who is less familiar with it. Oleg and Emil film their confrontations and crimes, including the murder and arson against their former criminal partner, intending to sell the footage to a local tabloid TV show called "Top Story."
